About This Service

Custom Glass Cutting, Done Properly.

Every chain shop runs your VIN through a parts catalog. If the VIN doesn't pull a windshield, they tell you they can't help and you move on. We don't work that way.

For vehicles without OEM glass available — classic cars, restorations, hot rods, vintage trucks, RVs, tractors, dune buggies, specialty equipment — we work with specialty glass fabricators who cut to template. Flat glass is straightforward; curved one-piece windshields take longer and cost more, but we get them.

If authenticity matters (concours restoration, magazine feature build, period-correct sale), we can source date-coded reproduction glass from suppliers who specialize in it. We'll tell you the price difference up front.

How We Quote

Tell Us the Vehicle. Quote in Five Minutes.

Pricing depends on your vehicle's year, make, model, ADAS package, and (for replacement work) what kind of glass it takes. Call (570) 413-9662 or text us a photo of the damage with your year, make, and model and we'll quote you in under five minutes during business hours.

If your comprehensive auto insurance covers the work, your out-of-pocket may be $0 — we'll handle the claim and the carrier directly. No paperwork on your end.

Most local shops won't quote without a phone call and the VIN anyway. We'd rather just answer the phone.

What to Expect

Step by Step. No Mystery.

01
Bring or Send

Bring the vehicle, the existing glass, or a template to our Lehighton shop. For out-of-state builds, we can work from detailed measurements.

02
Template

We template the opening or measure the existing glass. For curves, we use a flexible profile gauge.

03
Source / Cut

Specialty fabricator cuts to template (1–4 weeks typical). Flat glass we sometimes cut on-site faster.

04
Fit Test

Glass tested in the opening before final urethane install. Adjustments made if needed before commitment.

05
Install

Final install with appropriate adhesive (urethane for bonded, gasket for retained). Edges polished, fit verified, vehicle delivered.

Questions, Answered

Custom Glass Cutting FAQ.

Probably yes. We work with specialty glass fabricators who supply reproduction glass for classic cars including the Mustang. Whether you want a generic reproduction or date-coded concours glass depends on your build's goal — we'll talk through it before we quote.
Yes to all. If we can template the opening, we can source or cut the glass. Tractor cab glass, vintage truck windshields and side windows, RV windows, custom side glass for off-road builds — all in our wheelhouse.
Most flat glass: 1–2 weeks. Curved one-piece classic windshields: 3–4 weeks. Date-coded concours glass for rare cars: sometimes longer — depends on the supplier's inventory and lead time. We give you a realistic ETA before we start.
Sometimes. Standard auto policies usually don't, but agreed-value classic car insurance often does. We can provide a quote and any documentation your carrier needs.
We focus on vehicles. For residential or commercial flat glass needs (mirrors, table tops, shelves) we'd refer you to a residential glass shop — we don't pretend to do that work.
